Convert images: PNG, JPG and WebP
Change the format of one or many images at once: PNG, JPG or WebP.
Transparent areas turn white in JPG. EXIF data is removed.
Files never leave your device
How to do it
- Choose one or more images.
- Pick the new format: JPG, PNG or WebP.
- Press "Convert" and download the image or the ZIP.
Tips
- JPG has no transparency: transparent parts of a PNG turn white.
- A site does not accept WebP? Convert it to JPG.
- PNG loses no quality, but a photo saved as PNG weighs several times more than as JPG.
Questions
Is quality lost?
Going to JPG or WebP compresses a little; at high quality you will not notice. Going to PNG loses nothing, but the file is larger.
Can I convert HEIC to JPG?
Only in browsers that can open HEIC, such as Safari on iPhone and Mac. In Chrome and Firefox you will be told so.
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are converted in your browser and never leave your device.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in any current browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux. Safari cannot save WebP: choose JPG or PNG there.
